LA Jewish Bluprint: Refresh Your Soul
If you're looking for a break from the glitz and glamour of LA nightlife, the Day of Kabbalah taking place next Sunday, November 14, promises to get you enmeshed in mystical, spiritual stuff.
Billed as an "urban learning retreat for mind, body and soul," the day-long event has its roots in the wildly successful Kabbalah days in New York, organized by Rabbi Naftali Citron of the Carlebach Shul in NYC who is also co-hosting the upcoming event in Los Angeles.
"It has been a huge hit in NYC for a few years, and we wanted to bring it to LA," says Rabbi Yonah Bookstein, Executive Rabbi at JConnectLA. "The last one in LA three years ago was a huge success, and many people find that having a chance for a learning retreat gives them time to learn and ask questions, and go at their own pace and interests."
